DJ O’kay Megamixer: over 20 years on the decks and behind the mic
A career built on craft, broadcast instinct and over 20 years of knowing what an audience needs before they know it themselves.
DJ O’kay Megamixer is a Nigeria-born DJ, producer and OAP (On-Air Personality) whose instinct for an audience did not begin at an event venue. It began in a radio studio.
His career started at Positive 102.5 FM in Akure, Nigeria, where he learned to hold a listener’s attention across transitions and understand when energy needed lifting and when it needed space.
A residency at Metro 97.7 FM in Lagos, one of Nigeria’s most-listened-to stations, deepened that instinct. Broadcasting to hundreds of thousands sharpens your sense of what moves people and what loses them. That knowledge is transferred directly into every live performance.
As a versatile, open-format DJ, his approach goes beyond any single genre.
Afrobeats flows into Amapiano. RnB meets Hip Hop. Gospel anchors a cultural celebration.
UK party classics bring a mixed crowd together. His ability to read the crowd and play the right
songs at the right moment consistently sets him apart from the pack.
Now based in Derby, performing across the East Midlands and the UK, and the CEO and
founder of 234Radio (Africa’s premium online radio platform), DJ O’kay Megamixer brings over two decades of broadcast experience and a genuinely global music perspective to every event he plays.
